One component of the Eucharist Preparation program is the Making Bread workshop in November near Thanksgiving.

Students bring grandparent of parents to the workshop to share the experience.

Activities at the workshop include drawing pictures on a placemat of their immediate families and then drawing a picture of their church family.

This is a very special opportunity for the students to share faith moments with grandparents who are important in their

lives and are passing down traditions of their faith to the younger generation.

Grandparents and parents have an chance to talk with their child about family traditions.

Students enjoy coloring eggs to place on their breads.

The video that they watch tells the story of a Grandmother (Nona) sharing the special traditions of her country with her grandson.

Students place colorful eggs on top of the bread they made with the special guest and than it is cooked while they attend 4:00 pm Mass.
